Buenos Aires, Nov 16 (NA) – Deputy and head of the Civic Coalition - ARI, Maximiliano Ferraro, announced that he is working on the final draft of the report from the congressional commission investigating the $Libra cryptocurrency case, which was promoted by President Javier Milei on February 14, 2025. According to Noticias Argentinas agency, the Investigating Commission on the $Libra Cryptocurrency will meet next Tuesday, November 18, at 4 p.m. in Room 1 of Annex A to present and approve the final report. As the head of the commission, Ferraro revealed that he is finalizing the details of the information gathered, covering ten volumes with evidence collected over months of work. This material will also be sent to Federal Judge Marcelo Martínez de Giorgio and Prosecutor Eduardo Taiano, who is in charge of the case. The opposition failed to obtain testimony from involved Executive Branch officials, but they state that the report contains details that reinforce the suspicion of fraud in the promotion of the virtual currency. Through his X account, Ferraro shared: “Last hours of intense work before presenting the report on Tuesday. Review, contrast, and analysis of every document, testimony, and information that was part of the Commission's work.” “We have reached this stage by exercising our role with great responsibility, working to ensure that everything investigated is clearly reflected, so that the Chamber of Deputies and society have a serious, well-founded, and complete response. The final report will include the considerations and recommendations arising from this process,” he concluded. The commission was created at the opposition's initiative to investigate the alleged fraud in the promotion of the $LIBRA cryptocurrency, following a social media post by President Javier Milei. “We will be persistent and we will find out the truth,” he promised.
